Meet Ollie, a Limerick native whose heart beats for hurling, formerly of Ahane GAA club now showcasing his skills as both a midfielder and the captain of the Four Masters Hurlers.
His partner in both life and sports, Ciara, hails from Ardara and once dominated the field as a senior ladies footballer for Ardara. Together, they've woven their success into the fabric of Donegal Town as proud owners of Physio Eireann, a thriving chartered physiotherapy clinic.
Their journey led them to Brenter area, where they've seamlessly integrated into the community, nurturing their young family of three in their new abode. It's not just Ollie and Ciara who've embraced Dunkineely as home; Ciara's sister and brother, Aoife and Cathal, along with Cathal's partner Niamh, have also found roots in Brenter.
Aoife, a speech and language therapist, and Tommy, our very own "Yank," have joined the fold with their three little ones, settling into the rhythm of life in the area. Tommy, originally from Philadelphia, USA, has embraced the challenge of "100 To Home" and is eagerly gearing up for adventures alongside his brother-in-law, Ollie. While you might spot him occasionally sporting his Philadelphia Eagles cap, come May 5th, it'll be replaced with a helmet as he hits the road, ready to conquer this cycling challenge!
